I chose Jacobs to replace my 20 year old residential HVAC system for 1) "preventative maintenance", and 2) increased energy efficiency. Jim Jacobs had an initial meeting with me (scheduled promptly and at my convenience) to look at my current system and to make a replacement recommendation. Jim emailed me a bid on three different options within a week. Jim and I met at my home shortly thereafter and made a decision on what system to install. Installation was quickly scheduled, again at my convenience. Eli Jacobs did a majority of the installation and performed the installation in a very professional manner. The work site was cleaned at the end of each day and at the conclusion of the installation. Eli thoroughly tested the system after it was installed (I happened to be home at the time an personally observed the testing). Eli explained the operation and programming of the new electronic thermostat and made sure that all of my questions were answered. My HVAC system is in my garage, which required Eli and the other technicians to go through our house a number of times to get to the attic to take out the old flue and to install the new flue and cold air intake. All of the installers took steps to keep from tracking dirt and debris into the house. I am pleased with Jacobs and their installation crew and am happy to recommend Jacobs to anyone who is considering the installation of a new HVAC system.
