Our 8 year old H/A unit had trouble holding coolent and working inefficiently for the last two years. It had been worked on by local contractors with little success and thier response always seemed to require substantial time on our part and more money than we anticipated. Living in a rural part of Union Co we felt a bit trapped when this past January the unit started to freeze up. Thinking we needed substantial repair and parts, I contacted Jacobs in Carbondale because they were a warrantee contractor. To our great suprize the following day our outside and attic components were examined, the unit was charged, and an estimate given to us and throughly explained. Jacobs arranges for financing which we took advantage of and shortly thereafter the repair, which included replacing the evaporator coil, defrost sensor and duct repairs, were scheduled and completed in a single day. The major parts were covered by the warrantee. We could not be happier.. Highly recommended.
