Our furnace stopped working on one of the first coldest nights of the year. I called Jacobs non-emergency phone line and left a message and a service call was returned first thing in the morning and Eli Jacobs was at my front 15 minutes later. In the first few seconds of meeting Eli, I could tell he sincerely enjoys what he does for a living and that he was ready to problem solve the situation. He was thorough, informative, and prompt with diagnosing the issue and pinpointing exactly the cause of my furnace's inoperation, which involved a build up of residue and sentiment in the condensate trap and pipe system. He quoted me the cost of labor and went to work. Afterward fixing the furnace, which took no more than 1 hour, he recommended the installation of a condensate pump to solve the leaky hose issue that runs from the furnace to the sump pump drain, but he didn't insist upon it in an up-sale pressuring manner. Based on Jacobs friendly, prompt, and affordable service, I'll be contacting them next month to install the recommended condensate pump.
