customer service to all of our customers.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for diagnosing and repairing
HVAC equipment failures and customer home comfort issues.
- Selects
the appropriate diagnostic & repair charges
from the Up-Front Pricing Manual per company policy.
- Explains services and policies prior to diagnostic and
repair. Charges and collects for all work performed per
company policy.
- Makes sure customers are satisfied with
services rendered before leaving site.
- Maintain required
levels of truck stock items and a neat & organized
truck.
- Works with Service Manager and dispatcher on ideas
for reducing the cost of the Service Department.
- Complete
daily paperwork, recording all hours and materials used
on each job before leaving the site. Turns in all
paperwork, related forms with revenue to Service Manager
daily.
- Contacts Service Manager after each call to review
call and receive next assignment.
- Keep entire work area
neat and organized, free of scrap, debris, finger prints
and foot prints.
- Provide customers with information
on company’s
maintenance agreement program.
- Provide customers with information
on new equipment when repairs are above $500 or equipment
is over 10 year old.
- Assist installation or fabrication
department, with installs or fabrication as directed by
Service Manager.
- Participate in the on call rotation for
24 hour emergency service.
- Other duties as assigned
